[2018] On Sunday 09/12 Mergata Board representatives attended Albanian Festival in Yarraville Gardens. We were overwhelmed with the number of people that attended this festival and their support for our foundation they showed us on the day. We wish to thank organisers for their hospitality. 

[2018]  On Sunday 18/03 Mergata Board representatives attended Harvest Festival in Shepparton. They presented the charitable foundation to Albanians in Shepparton and invited support for its projects. We thank the organizers of the festival for their warm hospitality.

[2018] During the end of the year festivities Mergata has been very active in promoting the foundation and our projects. For the same reasons, we will also be present at the evening that will mark the 10th anniversary of the Independence of Kosovo.

The Mergata Board has been actively promoting its' work and services at key events in Melbourne. Appearing at 3 concerts organized in honor of the Independence Day of Albania:
- Initially at the concert organized by the Albanian Community in Dandenong
- Concert organized by the Albanian Community in Melbourne and
- Concert organized by "United Albanians"

[2018] Great news for Mergata from the Australian Tax Office. Mergata has been endorsed as a deductible tax recipient. Therefore all donations over $2 may be eligible to claim tax deductions.

[2018] Mergata has been certified as a Charity with Australian Government through Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission.
