The Albanian Australian Foundation Mergata Limited was established on March 12, 2017, with a clear mission: to help disadvantaged communities in the Balkans region. As a small but dedicated charity organization, we represent the compassion and generosity of the Albanian Australian community.
Based in Preston, Victoria, we work tirelessly to connect resources and support from Australia to communities in need across Albania, Montenegro, and Serbia. Our name, "Mergata," reflects our commitment to coming together for a common cause.
Since our inception, we have focused on providing essential food aid to families, unemployed persons, and financially disadvantaged individuals across the Balkans, addressing immediate needs while supporting long-term community development.
